Sweet dreams start here.
We worked tirelessly to make the perfect Bamboo bed sheets, and here's why they are better than every other Bamboo sheet you've slept on.
Crop: Bamboo
These premium bed sheets are made from their namesake, the fibers of the Bamboo plant. Due to the length of the Bamboo fibers, long and thin threads can be spun from it. This allows more space for the threads to be woven together, essentially increasing the thread count.
Unlike cotton sheets, however, thread count weighs less in the softness and overall quality of Bamboo sheets. Even with a lower thread count, our Bamboo sheets are three times softer than our Eva™ cotton sheets.
Our bamboo sheets are OEKO-TEX® certified.
Yarn: Thread count
The long-staple yarns we use have fewer ends exposed and are therefore easier to weave, meaning we don't need to use as many. Gone are the days of stuffing thousands of short, stubbly fibers into fabric just to claim a higher thread count.
Our Bamboo sheets are made from a 300 thread count fabric, which gives us a luxuriously smooth and more durable fabric. The fabric will not only feel better and last longer, but also be much more breathable and cooler than a higher thread count fabric.
Weave: Sateen weave
Our Bamboo fabric has been woven together using a luxurious Sateen weave.
In a Sateen weave, the yarns are woven together by passing over three times, then under once which results in a flatter yarn surface area. More surface area of flat yarns means that the fabric is super soft to touch.
Our Sateen weave carries a slight sheen which perfectly complements the unique colors in our range and brings out the full depth of our unique range of colors.
The benefits
Naturally bamboo
Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, lightweight, and cooling. To help maintain the natural integrity of the Bamboo, we don't use any harsh dyes or chemicals during the production of our sheets. Our Bamboo fibers are breathable yet absorbent, soft yet durable, and really easy to maintain.
Comfort is key
The softness of Bamboo fiber is rivaled only by the most luxurious of fabrics, silk. Yet, no other fabric, including silk, offers the superior breathability and thermoregulating properties of bamboo.
Cooler than cotton
Bamboo sheets offer a cooler and more breathable sleeping experience compared to cotton sheets. Bamboo fibers possess natural moisture-wicking properties, allowing them to draw away perspiration and regulate body temperature effectively.
Care, less
Bamboo is really easy to care for. It's as easy to care for as cotton. Since most of your clothing is probably cotton, you’ll already have a good grasp of knowing how to care for it.
Sustainability
No nasties
We believe that nature knows what's best, so we only use natural fibers to make our sheets. Natural fibers need to be treated gently in the processing to preserve all of their best features, so we don't use any harsh dyes or chemical treatments. All of our sheets are pre-washed as part of our manufacturing process, so when they arrive at your door you can throw them straight on your bed.
Farmed, not manufactured
As our Bamboo is made of a natural fiber, it means it's farmed rather than manufactured. Farming has a positive impact on the environment compared to using synthetic fabrics which are manufactured.
Biodegradable and compostable
Bamboo sheets are not only remarkably durable, they're also biodegradable. When you're ready to say goodbye, they'll break down naturally.
